Focus on.... protein shakes

I love protein shakes and this week I am trying SynerProtein from Nature's Sunshine. The chocolate shake is gorgeous with a rich cocoa flavour that is not sickly sweet. It is also available in Vanilla. Mix it with water or milk, coconut milk, almond milk - whatever your tipple. When it's hot I blend it with ice and to ensure you don't get bored of the flavour add cinnamon, ginger or seasonal fruits.

Our bodies need protein on a daily basis. Protein provides essential building blocks for muscle and protein cannot be stored in the body so it is important to ensure you get good quality protein every day. Protein shakes are a great way to ensure you're getting enough protein to help feed and build muscles, especially if you're working out or running regularly.

Each serving of SynerProtein provides 14 grams of soya protein (21g of protein when mixed with skimmed milk) and the full range of amino acids and nutrients needed to rebuild muscle and reduce feelings of fatigue. This protein shake is made from non-genetically modifed soya which has been shon to have a number of health benefits for the cardiovascular system.
